The Temptations of Joy
Having got back from Our Disco last night with secret special guests 2manyDJs (result!) and having listened to hours of banging Electro House and Rock, getting munted and losing my friends, I am in need of some aural soothing. Fortunately I have just the ticket.
Temptation of Joy by Jatun is gorgeous, ethereal Post-Rock Electronica in an M83 / Mogwai style. It is soothing, uplifting and dark all at the same time. A soundtrack to mornings after the night before.
Jatun - Temptation of Joy // Other Electricities
Taken from the album S/T out on March 6th on Other Electricities. You can check out other tracks from the album here

ill-ec-tro-nic favourite, Gabriel Ananda has a new album due 19th March. Named Bambusbeats it sees him moving away from the Trancey Techno of his older productions and teaming up with live percussionist Oliver Frank. The result is a Techno album with warm textures and synths underpinned by the live drums. Check out samples from the rest of the album here
